Accessibility at Sales Point 360
Last reviewed: October 20, 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone who runs or shops at a business on Sales Point 360 to be able to use it, including people who rely on a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or high-contrast settings. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across this website, the Help Center, the online storefronts we host for merchants, the customer portal, and the back office.
We do not claim full conformance. Accessibility is ongoing work: new features are reviewed as they ship, and barriers that are reported to us are fixed.
What we do
- Every public page is scanned with automated accessibility tooling (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) before and after release, and the findings are fixed rather than hidden behind an overlay or widget. We do not use accessibility overlay products.
- Pages are built with semantic HTML: headings in order, landmarks, labelled form controls, visible focus states, a skip link to the main content, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Colour is never the only carrier of meaning, and text on our light and dark themes is held to the 4.5:1 contrast ratio WCAG requires.
- The register, storefront and customer portal work with a keyboard alone, and the web pages reflow for zoom up to 200% and for phone-width screens.
Known limitations
- The point-of-sale register screen is designed for a touch till and intentionally disables pinch-to-zoom so a cashier cannot accidentally zoom the layout; browser zoom and system magnifiers still work. The back office and all customer-facing pages allow zoom.
- Merchants can customise their storefront's colours and fonts. We hold our defaults to the contrast ratios above, but a merchant's own palette may not meet them.
- Charts and some printed documents (receipts, labels, PDF reports) carry their data in visual form; the same figures are available in the tables and exports beside them.
- Third-party content embedded in our pages (payment provider forms, map tiles, video players) is governed by those providers' own accessibility practices.
Report a barrier
If anything on our website, Help Center, a storefront we host or in the apps is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Include the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the browser, device and any assistive technology you use.
- Email: [email protected]
- Contact form
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers in a scheduled release, with a workaround offered in the meantime where one exists.
Technical notes
Sales Point 360 is built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with the screen readers commonly paired with them (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack). This statement covers salespoint360.com, help.salespoint360.com, hosted merchant storefronts, the customer portal and the web back office; the native mobile and desktop apps load the same web application.
